LAUV Culture

Our guide takes you on a cultural walk in Feiring's forests.
We visit Feiring Jernverk and have lunch at Carsten Ankers Lysthus. It was Carsten Anker who built the smelter in Feiring when he took over Eidsvold Værk.
Feiring Jernverk is one of the best-preserved ironworks areas in Norway from the industrial revolution. Here we can see the old blast furnace and stone walls show where the different houses have stood. There was operation in the ironworks from 1806 to 1819.
This trip can be booked Tuesday-Sunday. If you have booked one night, the trip is on the day of departure. We leave at 10 am and return at 1 pm. If you have booked more than one night, the time can be adjusted.
We recommend good shoes and clothing according to the weather.
Lunch and drinks included.
Difficulty: easy, with a focus on history and culture.
